Question about value of Bardstown Distillery Bottle?

I’m hoping perhaps you can assist me with a recent find. It is a Bardstown Distillery bottle, brown in color, in the shape of a violin. It is 11 inches tall and it has a cork stopper with Bardstown printed on top. It also has the back label listing the bottle info and history (the label is there and complete although it has a few damaged areas). However, the bottle doesn’t have the front label. In addition the bottle has part of the top seal on each side. It lists Patent # 107353 and has a couple of other number D202 and 65-41 on the bottle of the bottle. I only paid a dollar for it at a rummage sale, so I figured it was worth at least that much. Plus with it being Kentucky Derby Day and the mention of “My Old Kentucky” home on the back label it almost seemed like it was meant for me.

It’s actually a fairly rare bottle of bourbon. I’d explain it to you, but this website does a very good job. It might be worthwhile to track down a dealer in antique bottles or liquors to see how much value it may have.

why is rachel alexandra so overrated its nowhere near the best filly in the world?

it would have no chance of beating goldikova or stacelita, its just the best of a bad bunch in the u.s.a. and if it went for the breeders cup classic it would get totally outclassed by the colt sea the stars

Big Drama earned a 108 BSF last race, same as Rachel Alexandra – why is he getting such little coverage?

Because you’ve got Rachel Alexandra, who last week changed hands for a mere $10 million. She’ll be trying to become the first filly since Nellie Morse in 1924 to win the Preakness. And her rider, Calvin Borel, is the first jock in history to jump off the Derby winner to ride another horse in the Preakness.

I like Big Drama too. He for sure should not be overlooked. We have to keep in mind that all these horses are champions, and most have competed successfully in other Stakes races, but never against the best three year olds in the racing world.

Have you heard of the famous horse races in Saratoga Springs, New York?

I’m just wondering how many people have heard of them, because I live there. Are they really all that famous? In magazines and stuff I see ads for Saratoga Springs, how historical it is, and how much it has to offer, but to me, it’s just a boring little city.

Who wins the $400K Grade 2 Clark Handicap Friday at Churchill Downs?

Wow! What a solid field/Great Dirt Race..Einstein (one of the favorites, and to mention one of my favorites) with Jockey R. Maragh and Trainer Helen Pitt won last year, but having the 14 post? questionable?

Definitely in my picks is Misremembered with Jockey Espinoza and Trainer Bob Baffert, this 3 year old has early speed and is improving.

Also, like Etched with Jocky Alan Garcia and Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin, last two starts are awesome and likes distance.

Bullsbay with Jockey J. Rose and Trainer Graham Motion is solid on dirt, and likes distance.

Finally, Macho Again (one of the favorites) with Jockey R J Albarado and Trainer Dallas Stewart is the best closer in the race, however, not much speed here and he was off 50 days.

I’m going to take a chance here, by throwing out the two favorites, Einstein and Macho Again (may live to regret it though) and, since you asked “who wins” I’m going with Etched #8 to WIN.

Etched, Misremembered, Bullsbay, Blame, Giant Oak, Macho Again, Einstein
