Where can I get horse and/or greyhound racing programs online for free?
I know we used to be able to get great extended info from Rosnet2000.com but they are not free anymore. I know that some greyhound tracks have some 6-race history programs (rather than the rosnet 20-race history programs) in PDF form which is hardly usable in spreadsheet programs without manual entry of data, unless you have expensive additional software. And I have yet to find a free horse racing program anywhere online for any American Racetrack in any form, PDF or otherwise. Anybody had any luck?
So…i must add, I am searching for entire race programs..not picks. We want to generate our own picks based on a program that is free. I take it it is impossible to get free programs for entire performances in Horse races. And…I take it there is no FREE substitute for the once-free Rosnet2000.com. Thanks everyone for all your hard work. I will definitely use your suggestions

What does “cross the reins” and “run down” mean with regard to horse racing?
I’m familiar with many equine terms, but while reading the coverage about Big Brown, these terms have come up. What exactly does a jockey do when he/she “crosses the reins”? It’s apparently a signal for the horse to run, but what are the mechanics of the action?
Big Brown “ran down” in the Preakness. Is that regarded as a fault, or is it commonplace? Is it an indicator of a conformation defect ? The only definition I could find said that it meant weak pasterns.

Run downs are a bandage that help s the horse if if run’s down on his back or front pasterns
we use a cut out type of soft cloth that sticks to the leg and then wrap with a very light and short bandage
He does NOT HAVE TO BE WEAK THERE
HE MIGHT JUST RUN DOWN A BIT BECAUSE OF THE SURFACE OF THE TRACK
A horse like him that does run HARD might need them
again not all means he has a problem O.K.

Is the Kentucky Derby Festival marathon a good first marathon???
I ran my first Half Marathon this December. It was the St. Jude’s Memphis Marathon and I finished really strong. I am looking for a good first full marathon in the mid to late spring, and wanted to know your thoughts. PLEASE do not reply and say it is too early to do a full marathon, I have already completed a 20 mile long run in a moderately hilly area. I just want to make sure this marathon has good support, runner friendly, and is a good overall experience. There are mixed reviews at http://www.marathonguide.com/races/racedetails.cfm?MIDD=1726060429 but that doesn’t mean much to me because there was a lot of criticism about the St. Judes and I thought it was great! Somebody who has run both the Memphis and Louisville Marathon input would be appreciated.
If you’re ready, then it’s a good marathon, just research the course so you know where the hills are, if there are any.
I don’t really go on others opinion, I run a race and decide for myself, some people are just too critical. I have yet to run a race that I didn’t enjoy.

where can i watch Super GT.?
any idea of how i can watch the races? via, live stream, tv channel, torrent, direct download? anyone know?
i really want to see some GOOD japanese track racing. ALMS is kool, but it’s mostly about the P1 and P2 class, just not enough competition in the GT1 and GT2.. unless porsche vs ferrari, and corvette testing every race is what you find interesting.. i wanna see some 500 horse power NSX, GT-Rs, and SC430s fly around a track!
even if it’s a live stream from a japanese tv station, that would be gladly accepted.
