You can also use the tote board from DRF. This gives you live odds plus results if you choose.
In the BLUE tool bar, go to tools under tools is “live odds”. Click on that and add Mountaineer, you can have up to 5 tracks going at the same time.

I am comfortable reading form guides and have the discipline to follow a set of rules.

This is a very effective system to follow if you can identify basic things in the the form guide and make bets based only on a set of rules.
I have followed this to good effect and made many profitable bets as a result.
I think this is great for someone who doesn’t need to bet on every race (you won’t as only select races and horses qualify) and who doesn’t bet based on high odds and hope.

Question for the person with more than one of the versions of Harvest Moon?
Which harvest moon is the most active and more fun, one with these descriptions:
The harvest goddess was turned to stone by the witch and all the harvest sprites where sent away, its your job as a local farmer to help bring the harvest sprites back where they belong! Planting, raising animals, and finding yourself a girlfriend/boyfriend (depending on the version you get) you will have a lot to do, or, if you just want to lounge about you can go to the casino and Gamble to get some Gold (their currency) The goal of the game is to recover 60 harvest sprites and get married before your rival of the girl you have chosen steals her heart first! There are plenty of town events that you can go to and enter, for example: horse races-(you can also bet on those!) That would be Harvest Moon DS and Harvest Moon DS Cute.
Both have the same gameplay, but HMDS has a boy as the main character, and Cute has the choice of playing one of 2 girl main characters.
Cute has additional features such as changing clothes/wallpaper/floor, chance of having a girl child (could only have a boy in HMDS). HMDS has many glitches, which have been taken out in Cute.

Where can I watch the Flamington’s horse racing on the internet?
I am not within Australia, so at Bigpond’s site the today’s horse racing is not available in my territory. Can I watch the Coolmore Lightning Stakes on the internet somewhere else? Or lacking that, at least read the racing results…
go to sky channel web site and you can see replays and all dividends, big upset in the lightning today Apache Cat and Weekend Hussler both missed a place!!

Can anyone tell me where I can get a book that explains how to understand Horse Racing guides in newspapers?
For example;(all the following would be on one line),
1 (8) 955842 YARQUS 18 (T)(S) C Brittain 4-9-10……..S Sanders 77
All newspapers are different and can give information in a slightly different way. Even the Racing Post can give two different favourites depending whether you look at the shop edition or the wall display edition.
As far as the line you give goes, it means:-
Horse number 1. (Will have number 1 on saddle cloth.
(8) means drawn 8 ,that is will come out of stall eight
955842 are it’s last six finishing positions, so it was second last time out and fourth the time before that.
Yarquis is name of horse
18 is the amount of days since it last ran (when it finished second)
(T) means it has it’s tongue tied down to help it not to choke.
(S) means it acts on the soft going.
C.Brittain is the Trainer
4-9-10 means it is a four year old carrying 9 stone 10 pounds
S.Sanders is the Jockey
and finally 77 would be the newspapers rating, and that number probably means you are reading the Daily Mail.
In general that is the way it goes. Help was of help.!!
