What are some good appetizers for a Kentucky Derby party?
The party will start at 3:30 and go into the night. As of now, I am planning on serving the following appetizers: a fruit, cheese and cracker tray, Benedictine spread thinned to be dipped with vegetables, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp dip with frito scoops, and possibly dill snack crackers. I have simply run out of ideas for additional dishes and would like to serve a couple more. I would prefer something that doesn’t need to be hot or kept warm. I don’t want to have to mess with it. Also if they can be made in advance that would be great too, but not absolutely necessary. If anyone has any ideas I would be very appreciative. Thanks!
