Ex race horse history?

I recently acquired an old ex race horse on loan from on old friend. I know a little bit about his history but not much. I know that his racing name was go dancer and that he won 10 races. I am in Australia but i haven’t been able to find records on any Australian thoroughbred directories. The only other thing i know about him is that he is coming up to 20. I am in VIC and his brand is a H with a ring around it, but no one i have talked to seems to know who owned this brand . If anyone out there knows anything about him or his brand it would be appreciated. Thx guys

Have you tried speaking to someone at the Australian Jockey Club? They will have records of all the Thoroughbreds born in the country and that will help you to trace his race record and any siblings.

If you know his racing name you could try a site like www.pedigreequery.com as they might have a listing for him.

Kentucky Derby Statistics

STATISTICS PROBLEM FOR KENTUCKY DERBY?

Hello.
I’m doing a Statistics Project on if Post Position in the Kentucky Derby really matters. What kind of statistics test could I use for this. I already have a data table made out with the Post Position number of each horse that has won and the number of horses in each race.

Do you guys have any suggestions???

Thanks in advance!!

If I were you, I would do a hypothesis test with proportions. I don’t know how many positions there are in the Kentucky Derby, but let’s just say there are 20. Then you would expect that 5% of the races would go to each position (assuming there is no advantage based on position). Test the claim that the Post Position has an advantage (i.e. that the proportion of winners in the post position is greater than 5%).

In order to do a thorough examination, you should also explore how positions are assigned. Are they random? If so, then doing the hypothesis test is fairly easy. It they are not assigned randomly, then you have a much tougher task.

If you don’t know how to do a hypothesis test, then ignore everything I just said, and maybe make a bar chart with each position.

Hot Chick [VHS]

Hot Chick [VHS]

$7.00

It’s no surprise that The Hot Chick is stupid; what’s remarkable is the ambition of its stupidity. After a hokey, Mummy-like prologue to establish the body-switching spell cast by an ancient pair of Abyssinian earrings, the low-concept lunacy begins when those earrings are divided, eons later, between a cruel-minded high school campus queen (Rachel McAdams) and a small-time crook (Rob Schneid…

How can I get a job at Arlington Park working around the horses?

Can anyone near or around the Arlington Park horse track area
help me. who do I call or write. I use to work around horse’s two years ago at a horse farm in Colorado, but never a race track. can anyone help thanks

The easiest way is to go to the gate for the backside and tell security you’re looking for a job, they will send an announcement out that any trainer looking for help to go to the gate, at least they do at most tracks I’ve been to. You may not get hooked up with the best trainer, at first, but with such high turnover with workers you will most likely at least get your foot in the door. I would also try to look up websites for some of the trainers located there and call them to arrange an interview, or call the track, they should be able to give you a number you can reach most of the trainers on.

How should I name my children?

I hope that I will get at least one girl and/or one boy; I’ve thought about these names for years, but I don’t know in which order I should place them.

If it’s a girl, she will certainly be named Rachel, after my great-grandmother. Please pick out of these names to in order to get a second and third name for her.

Luna (it means moon in Latin), Lindsay/Lindsey, Mary, Alexandra, Claudia, Chesley, Taylor and Taylena (pronounce: tah-leena).

And if it’s a boy, he’ll be named Jordan for sure. Please mix these names like above.

Robin, Daniel, Cameron, Patrick, and Gerard.
If you have an own idea of a middle and third name, please share it, thank you! It’s just for ”inspiration”, really.

Rachel Lindsay Taylor
Jordan Patrick Daniel
