It didn’t take Rosario long to climb the ranks of California racing, winning his first major stakes race in 2007, just one year after his American Debut. His career would soon explode. In 2020 Rosario reached a milestone riding Hit the Whoa to his 3,000th career victory. In recent years Rosario has gained a reputation for being one of the best timing and finishing jockeys in the United States. This skill set is particularly noticeable when he rides in turf races.
