Gulfstream Park (Race 8)

This race is a starter optional claiming race that accepts two years old horses, who are required to run a six furlongs distance for prize money of $32,000.

Top Race Picks

Swaggy George (7/2)

Swaggy George, owned by Bruno Schickedanz, is our favorite to win this race with an odd of 7/2. The colt, who is trained by Sandra Matier, won the Gulfstream Park West, 6-furlong sloppy race that was held on October 16, with five other contenders. But more recently, the Swaggy George appeared at the Gulfstream Park West, 6-furlong fast race, which was held on November 6. He finished in the second position, with six other horses in the race. We expect him to triumph in today's race.

Braccio di Ferro (10/1)

Braccio di Ferro, owned by Alessio Bianco, is another fan's favorite that we expect to put up a great show, with odds pegged at 10/1. The gelding, which was sired by Race Day is trained by Jose D Angelo. Braccio di Ferro's last race was on September 6, at the Gulfstream Park, 5-furlong fast race, where he triumphed excellently as he finished in the first position.

Aqueduct Racetrack (Race 3)

This race is an allowance optional claiming race that accepts New York foaled fillies and mares of three years old and upward, who are required to run a mile distance for prize money of twice that of the Gulfstream Park race 8, $74,000.

Top Race Picks

Singular Sensation (9/5)

The four years old filly is owned by William Parsons Jr. and Howe David. She is our favorite to win this one-mile-long race. Singular Sensation was sired by the Mineshaft and is trained by Mark Hennig. She finished in the fifth position at her last appearance, which was the Belmont Park race that was held on November 24. But prior to that race, she had won the Saratoga race over six other horses in the race, which took place on July 22.

Awesome Alana (10/1)

Awesome Alana, a chestnut filly owned by Robert Amendola, is expected to contend for the top position in this race. The Violence sired horse is trained by Mertkan Kantarmaci. She last appeared at the Belmont Park, 6-furlong sloppy race, which took place on October 29, where she finished in the second position with Forgotten Hero taking the first position. She also appeared earlier in the month at the Belmont Park, 1-mile fast race. She finished third in that race, with Maiden Beauty leading the other five horses in the race for the top position.
